Leigh Day (London) - Filing Clerk (Part-time)

Leigh Day is seeking a part time Filing Clerk to join the Human Rights Department.

Our highly renowned Human Rights department defends the rights of individuals with a particular
emphasis on rights relating to health and social care, the environment, state detention, disability,
and abuse and mistreatment. Chambers and Partners describe the team in the following terms:
‘’They take on the difficult cases challenging the government where others might lack the guts."

In this role the successful candidate will assist various teams within the Human Rights department in
providing filing support. Other tasks will involve assisting with archiving, scanning and photocopying.
The role will also be required to provide general administrative support on an ad-hoc basis.

The successful applicant will possess strong organisational and administrative skills. S/he will be
flexible, adaptable and able to manage assigned tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner. Along with strong communication skills, candidates should be pro-active, friendly and energetic.
Previous administrative experience in an office environment and a demonstrable interest in this area
of law is desirable.

Contract: permanent, 3.5 days per week
Start date: ASAP
Location: London
Closing date: 24 September 2017
Salary: £20,500 pro rata
